Palo Verde Child and Family Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive, cost effective behavioral health services to the Las Vegas community. We offer the following services: INDIVIDUAL, MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPY Individual Therapy develops the wholeness of an individual, improving self esteem and enhancing skills in problem solving and decision making. MARITAL THERAPY Marital Therapy empowers each partner to express their innermost feelings in order to build true intimacy, to identify joint and individual goals and learn problem solving techniques. FAMILY THERAPY Family Therapy improves communications between family members, helps parents set realistic guidelines and increases the family's problem solving skills. GROUP THERAPY Group Therapy provides a supportive environment for individuals to work together on similar concerns. CHILD AND ADOLESCENT THERAPY Child and Adolescent Therapy offers a safe environment for children and young people to express any feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, to help them understand about concentration or learning problems, and how to modify and self defeating behaviors. Parent Skill Training enhances the parent-child relationship and assists parents to deal more effectively with day to day issues and problems like ADHD, oppositional behavior as well as developmental delays. Our Speakers Bureau provides lectures, seminars and workshops for professionals, for the public, and for community and private organizations. REFERRALS ACCEPTED FOR TREATMENT
OF THE FOLLOWING DISORDERS Affective Disorders PAUL D. WULKAN, LCSW, ACSW, PSY.D. Dr. Wulkan has over 25 years experience working with children and families and is an internationally recognized speaker. He is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada. He is also the Primary Instructor for the "Helping Children Cope with Divorce" seminars. Our providers are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Clinical Social Work Interns. We are providers for most health insurance carriers. Appointments can be scheduled between 9 AM and 8 PM, Monday through Friday, and by appointment on Saturdays. We offer a sliding scale based on your income.
